Krupka Mining Landscape – UNESCO World Heritage Site just a few minutes from our hotel

Hornická krajina Krupka

The historic town of Krupka is known primarily for its rich mining past, which dates back to the Middle Ages. It is thanks to tin mining that the area has become one of the most important European mining centers and is now part of the UNESCO World Heritage as part of the Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří Mining Region project.

Visitors can discover historic galleries, old mining trails, a landscape shaped by mining, and the unique atmosphere of the Ore Mountains. The entire area offers a combination of history, nature, and a peaceful environment suitable for trips and relaxation.

The most interesting places include, for example, the area around the Starý Martin adit, the historical center of Krupka, or nature trails leading through the mining landscape. You can also combine the trip with a visit to Komáří vížka or other attractions in the area.

Thanks to the location of our mini hotel, this unique area is literally within reach. After a day spent exploring history and the Ore Mountains, you can enjoy peaceful accommodation, a relaxing atmosphere and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
